We are officially two weeks away from Halloween and all of its fantastic celebrations. While this means the increase of candy sales and a peak in adorable food stuffs that look like mini monsters (thanks Pinterest), it also means jack o'lantern season!

With all of that pumpkin carving and gut scooping, it can be tempting to throw all remains in the garbage and just use the pumpkin outer shells for your decorating. Yes, this is definitely easier, but with so many delicious snacks and foods able to be made with the seeds, why waste them?

There are, of course, the classic recipes for roasted pumpkin seeds, sprinkled with salt and gently toasted for that lightly crunchy, satisfying bite. But, there are also a multitude of sauces, desserts, breads and more in which you can use those tasty little seeds throughout autumn.
