Discovering great deals in New York City

Affordable BYOB Restaurants We may not be able to prepare for all of life's unpredictable events, but there are some things we can try to take control of - and that includes enjoying a reliable wine with some solid grub. One way we know how to do just that is by frequenting trusted restaurants with generous BYOB policies.

Our Editor-in-Chief Greg Dal Piaz introduced us to some of his favorite BYOB restaurants, fit for a range of occasions. We thought we'd continue with another selection of affordable restaurants, some that you may or may not have expected to offer such policies. After all, we know just how much New Yorkers love to eat out (there were 23,499 active restaurants in all of the Big Apple, as of April of last year); but we also know how much New Yorkers enjoy a good deal!

With so many options out there, we hope this will help in narrowing down the field with some new and old favorites – whether it’s with the venue, bottle or both. Be sure to utilize great sites like GoBYO, Wine Berserkers and NYCorked for easy-to-find suggestions your area.

And as always, please share the best BYOB restaurants you like to patronize (and the wines you bring along) with us in the comments below. Delicious and affordable dining pleasures, what’s not to love?
