Best Snooth Baked Goods

This past Friday, we held a bake-off here at the Snooth office. The entries were many, with treats ranging from breakfast bread and cakes to chocolate cookies with spiked Bourbon filling. Needless to say, we all left the office with happy faces and sugar-filled tummies for our fun Mother's Day weekend events.

While we can't feature every dish, we've split the entries into categories to best highlight the most popular recipes. We've also included a Best Reader Entry category for those of you who emailed. While we were not able to taste these in the office, the mouthwatering recipes sounded simply to-die-for.

Best Breakfast Good

Our winning breakfast entry came from Snooth CEO Rich Tomko and his two beautiful little girls. Their delicious Cinnamon Coffee Cake was a hit throughout the office.

Runner up: Blueberry Sour Cream Muffins

Best Cake or Bread

Director of Operations Mimi Kim brought in her take on the Little Baby Jesus Cake from Vesta Trattoria in Queens. Similar to a date bread but with a warm caramel sauce, there was just no hope in stopping after one piece.

Runner up: Brown Butter Sugar Cookie Cake

Best Cookie

There is nothing wrong with having Bourbon at 10 a.m. on a Friday if it comes in the form of chocolate ganache sandwiched between two soft chocolate chip cookies. Social Media Manager Clare Goggin Sivits brought these in and boy, were they good.
