How to Beat the Repeat Blues
If the movie Groundhog Day taught us anything, it’s that perpetual repetition is mind-numbingly boring ( also a great way to learn the piano). In the kitchen, perpetual repeat takes the form of leftovers—proteins and veggies from the night before that we cannot, in good conscience, simply toss.  Unfortunately, the easiest option—unwrap, reheat, consume with a sigh—is also a bit boring.

Because we’re also leftovers-users, and because most of us are more likely to encounter them sometime soon (sooner, anyway, then we’ll be forced to relive the same day until we learn a life lesson), we decided to honor Groundhog Day this Saturday by finding a way to beat the repeat blues. These are only a few ideas; use them as templates to jazz up your next-day meals.
