A solid list. I would like to heartily recommend Lotus of Siam as well -- the absolute best German Riesling wine list in America, and perfect to complement the spicy Thai food. My review can be accessed here:

      Some other Las Vegas thoughts:
About a decade ago, three dozen of the Wine Spectator's chat room participants would head out to Las Vegas for a wine-swilling weekend. We would hit up Lotus of Siam for a lunch, go to Rosemary's (now sadly closed) for dinner, and have a smashing Bacchanal the next night at the Pinot Brasserie at the Venetian. The food was very good, and the best part was that corkage was FREE! People brought their best bottles (aged First Growths and Burgundies, California Cult wines, aged Ports), and the party carried on into the wee hours. The Sommelier staff loved it as well -- they pretty much camped out in our separate dining area. We did this four years running -- great memories.

omg, i'm about to leave for las vegas at the end of the week! this could not be more timely. thank you. Hey, you all don't like Aureole? I know the whole "wine angels" thing is a little gimmicky, but whatever the quality of the list, it's a fun experience, and I actually thought the food there was outstanding, personally.

Aureole -- Ate there a lo-o-ong time ago with a winery owner friend and his lady. We got some deference from the Sommelier, but the food service was very slow. And they didn't let some in the party order a la carte, while others ordered the set menu. We were there 4 hours to complete the meal. But that was then -- things may be different now.
