Succulent King Crab
To follow up on our previous summer seafood-themed guide, How To: Clambake, we present you with a roundup of our favorite king crab recipes.
King crab, recognized for its distinctively long legs and its permanent home on restaurant buffet tables across the country, has a mild but deliciously sweet and succulent flavor. Perfect grilled with butter or chopped and used to highlight a pasta or corn dish, king crab meat is incredibly diverse and usable.
Though there is some tough work involved in preparing them, the results are well worth the effort. And, come on, everybody knows cracking those shells is part of the fun! Often available pre-cooked and frozen at local grocery stores, these beauties can also be bought fresh at fish markets and need little more than a quick steam for a delicious dinner.
