There's an overwhelming number of food blogs out there. Many with fabulous, mouth-watering photos guaranteed to whet your appetite and kick your motivation into overdrive. I love these blogs for their sharp, professional-grade photos that could easily grace the pages of glossy food magazines.
But there's definitely something to be said about keeping it simple. That's why when I came across Johanna Kindvall's blog, kokblog (literally "kitchen blog" in Swedish), it stopped dead me in my tracks. This charming, illustration-based blog is a true breath of fresh air in our hyper tech-focused media world - while never compromising great home recipes, like Sticky Chocolate Cake and Semi Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder, that keep food fans coming back for more.
When an artist like Joanna puts her love for design and food on full display, the result is a disarmingly lovely blog that will guarantee to charm the pants off anyone who visits. Check it out today!
