The Food In My Beard
July 9, 2011
By kate statton
Possibly the best thing about a good food blog is the pictures. Admit it, despite how great the recipes sound or how descriptive the explanations are, there's something to be said about a picture being worth a thousand words! One blog that always gets our mouths watering is
The Food In My Beard.
The Food In My Beard documents a young cook's world of apartment cooking with his cooking partner-in-crime, Mandi. From an apartment in Bermuda to one on the Upper East Side of New York City, Dan brings you all of his cooking adventures with awesome step-by-step instructions and photos.
To add to it, his recipes are incredibly unique, with dishes like
Mac and Cheese Stuffed Sausages,
Red Velvet Battered Onion Rings,
BBQ Chicken Waffle Sandwiches and
Spinach Artichoke Mac and Cheese (he does a lot of awesome stuff with macaroni and cheese - a major plus for us, as mac and cheese variations always lead to memorable cooking endeavors).
He also makes use of a
"Stubble" section, which is filled with basic foundation recipes that a new cook can come back to repeatedly, like this
recipe for fresh pasta.
Click through his blog and you are guaranteed to be hooked. Be sure to let us know what other awesome The Food In My Beard recipes you find below!
