Keeping with our slow cooking theme of Wednesday's post, this week's featured What We've Been Reading food blog has an entire recipe section dedicated to slow cooker recipes.
Pass the Sushi is a blog dedicated to good food and having "fun on a day to day basis." Kita, the blog's author, splits her time between managing a local comic store, selling hand-sewn aprons and cooking delicious meals.
Kita's creative side is made evident in her wide array of recipes, including everything from Root Beer Float Popsicles to Maple French Toast Bacon Cupcakes.
If that isn't enough to get your mouthwatering, Pass the Sushi has an entire recipe section dedicated to possibly-not-politically-correct-yet-incredibly-delicious "Fat Kid Friendly" dishes. Yes, that means things like Grilled Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork, Macaroni & Cheese and Bacon (this is all in one sandwich).
Don't get the complete wrong idea, there are some healthy recipes to be found on Pass the Sushi - you just have to look for them. Things like Skillet Rosemary Chicken and Grilled Swordfish Steaks are perfect for those watching what they eat or simply looking for a healthier change of pace.
Whatever you're looking for, you'll be sure to find that and more over on Pass the Sushi, all served up with plenty of personality.
Be sure to check out Kita's blog, and let us know your favorite of her recipes below!
