There are many different formats in which people set up their food blogs. Some use more photos while others rely heavily on text, and then there are the chosen few who take on a completely different style all to themselves.
That is just the case for sandwich-based blog Sandwicherie. A rotating carousel of sandwich recipes, the blog presents an assortment of dishes in a funky new way, all with one simple goal: to bring each sandwich the crown it deserves.
The blog is separated into categories of sandwich origin, including Cafe, Diner, Pub, Pique-nique, and Delicatessen groupings. Within each category there are several easy to make sandwiches, with steps explained through large photos and minimal text.
We love this new approach to food blogging, but love the super eccentric sandwiches even more. Check out the PCC, or Peanut Chicken Ciabatta, for a healthy and hearty dish worthy of a summer dinner. Or for something a bit lighter, try the Parsley Pesto, a recipe in which your veggies are brought to life after a simple whirl in the food processor. Pile atop a lovely, crusty baguette and you're set!
Other recipes worth drooling over are the Asparagus and Ham Sandwich, the BLT Salad Sandwich, and my personal favorite, the Egg-in-a-Hole Sandwich, comprised of ham and cheesy goodness and topped with a baked egg that just begs to be devoured for weekend brunch.
