Beef Platter Burger


  • ½ cup fat-skimmed beef broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup fine dried bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 ½ pounds ground lean beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 round French bread (1 1/2 lb., about 11 in. wide)
