Chile-Spiced Tenderloin Steaks

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon ancho chile powder
    • 4 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
    • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt

Prepare grill.Combine first 9 ingredients in a small bowl, and rub marinade mixture evenly over both sides of steaks. Let steaks stand at room temperature 15 minutes.
