  • 4 (1 1/2-ounce) hamburger buns, toasted
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 (1/4-inch-thick) tomato slices

    • 4 (1/2-ounce) cheddar cheese slices
    • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
    • 4 green leaf lettuce leaves

    • 4 (1/4-inch-thick) tomato slices
