Alice Jo's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 (14 ½-ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste
    • 1 clove garlic, chopped
    • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
    • 1 tablespoon

1. Brown the beef in a large, heavy bottomed pot, then drain off the fat. Add the onion, green pepper, and garlic and saute until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
