Baked Ziti with Fresh Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon(s) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 shredded mozzarella cheese, divided (2 cups 8 ounce )
- 8 ounce(s) uncooked ziti
- ¼ teaspoon(s) pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s) dried basil
- 3 pound(s) plum (Roma) tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped (15 tomatoes)
- 1 ½ teaspoon(s) salt

- 1 pound(s) Ground Beef
In Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomatoes, salt, basil and pepper.
