Barbecue Sauce - Thick and Spicy

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (10 ½ ounce) can beef broth
  • ½ cup molasses
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • + 15 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup prepared mustard
    • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 beef bouillon cube
    • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon sage
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper
    • ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
    • 2 tablespoons dried onions, minced
    • 1 teaspoon parsley
    • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
    • 1 bay leaf

1 Place all ingredients in a pot in order of list, stir with a whisk to blend, bring to a simmer and simmer very slowly for about an hour to an hour and a half.
