Ingredients

  • 3 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter
  • buttered wide egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup shallot
  • ¾ pound cremini mushrooms

    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • 3 tablespoons sour cream
    • 1 pound 1-lb beef tenderloin, trimmed, sliced 1/4 inch thick
