  • 4 pounds beef brisket
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 5 to 6
  • 1 (12-ounce) can beer

Season meat with salt and pepper and place in a 9 by 13-inch pan, and cover with onion. Combine ketchup, chili sauce, sugar, garlic and beer and pour over meat.
