BULGOGI

Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) beef (Sirloin or other steak beef)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon(s) salt
  • 4 scallions coarsely chopped (Medium)
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon(s) fresh ginger, finely chopped
    • 2 tablespoon(s) water, rice wine or white wine

Cut the beef into thin slices about 3" by 1/8" thick (this can be done at the butcher shop). If doing at home, freeze the beef to make it easier. Marinate the beef in the remaining ingredients for 2 hours or more. Traditionally this meat is broiled but it can also be sautéed in a frying pan.
