  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked and drained
  • ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 2 medium carrots, shredded
    • 3 cups water
    • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 cup uncooked long grain rice

1. In a large saucepan, saute rice and garlic in butter until golden brown. Stir in water, carrots, bouillon, parsley, salt, basil and onion. Bring to a boil.
