Chili con Carne with Beans

  • 1 ½ cups canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (19-ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes with green pepper, celery, and onion
    • 1 cup chopped onion
    • 4 teaspoons chili powder

Cook first 6 ingredients in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned, stirring to crumble. Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and diced tomatoes; bring to a boil. Cook 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beans; cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
