Corned Beef with Dilled Cabbage

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup(s) honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoon(s) chopped fresh dill (or ½ teaspoon dill weed)
  • 3 tablespoon(s) softened margarine
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 6 potatoes (cubed)
  • 4 carrots (diced)
  • 1 head(s) cabbage (wedges) (medium head)
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 tablespoon(s) Dijon mustard
    • 2 cup(s) water
    • 2 ½ pound(s) corned beef brisket

Place corned beef and water in oven. Cover and simmer in 350 degree oven for 1 hr. Turn over & continue cooking for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. or until meat is tender.
