Easy Sauerbraten

Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) vinegar
  • 4 pound(s) beef, chuck or rump roast
  • ¼ cup(s) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) salt
  • 30 ginger snaps
  • 2 onions, chopped (medium)
  • 1 bottle(s) Ketchup (14 ounce Bottle)
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon(s) pickling spices inch cheese cloth

In a large pan with a lid to cover or a crock pot, brown beef well. Add water to cover meat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until meat is tender, about 3-5 hours. Serve over egg noodles.
