Feijoada (Meat Stew with Black Beans)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pound boneless beef chuck or eye round
  • 1 ham hock
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ¼ pound chorizo
  • 1 ½ cups dry black beans
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1 ½ cups onion
