Filet Mignon with Mushroom-Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin steaks
  • ½ cup less-sodium beef broth
  • ½ cup sweet Marsala
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¾ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Cooking spray
  • ½ teaspoon bottled minced garlic
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
    • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup presliced mushrooms

Heat a large cast-iron skillet over high heat. Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add steaks to pan; cook 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
