Ghisau: A Sardinian Beef Stew Recipe


  • 2 ¼ pounds (1 k) beef
  • An onion, minced
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/3 pounds (600 g) potatoes
  • 10 ounces (250 g) ripe plum tomatoes, blanched, peeled, chopped, seeded, drained and blended
  • 2 ladles beef broth
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • Shredded hot pepper to taste (optional)
