Gingered Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon peeled, grated fresh ginger
  • 2/3 cup coarsely chopped red bell pepper
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • ½ (8-ounce package) fresh whole mushrooms, quartered
    • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
    • 3 cups hot cooked Jasmati rice
    • 2 tablespoons water
    • 2 cups fresh or frozen Sugar Snap peas

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Set aside. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices (about 1/8 inch thick). Add oil to preheated wok.
