Ingredients

  • 1 can(s) tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
  • 1 cup(s) mozzarella cheese
  • onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon(s) dry bread crumbs
  • 4 center cut bacon strips
  • ½ teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ½ teaspoon(s) thyme

    • 1 egg (large)
    • ½ teaspoon(s) basil
    • ½ cup(s) dry bread crumbs
    • 1 can(s) mushrooms (reserve juice) (4 ounce can)
    • 1 pound(s) ground beef (leaner is better)

Preheat oven to 375°. Add water to mushroom juice to make 1 cup. Fry bacon until crispy, drain and crumble. Set aside.
