  • 4 cups low-sodium fat-free chicken broth
  • Parmesan Toast Points (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil

    • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
    • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
    • 1 cup sliced turkey pepperoni (3 ounces)
    • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
    • 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
    • Garnishes: sliced fresh basil, shredded Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
