Linguine with Meat Sauce Casserole

Ingredients

• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 bunch green onions, chopped
• 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
• 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 8 ounces uncooked whole wheat linguine*
• 1 (16-ounce) container nonfat sour cream

  • 1 ½ cups (6 ounces) shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pound extra-lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
  • Vegetable cooking spray
