Lori's Beef and Gravy


  • 2 lbs stewing beef, cut into bite size pieces
  • 6 cups water (approx)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
