  • 2 can(s) Hunts tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon(s) shortening or drippings
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ¼ cup(s) chopped onion
  • ½ cup(s) raw rice, washed (or may use 2/3 cup precooked rice)

    • 1 pound(s) Ground Beef

Mix beef, rice, onion and seasonings. Form into small balls. Brown in hot oil, turning frequently until light brown but not crusty on all sides. Add tomato sauce and water; mix well.
