Ingredients
- ½ pound lean ground beef
- ½ pound ground veal
- ½ pound ground pork
- 1 cup ketchup
- ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- ½ cup fresh parsley

- 1 ½ cups fresh breadcrumbs made from white bread (about 3 slices)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 ¼ pounds red onions
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 350°F. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and sauté until just tender, about 6 minutes. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute.
