Ingredients

  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground coriander
  • ¼ teaspoon saffron threads
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup less-sodium beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 ½ pounds boneless leg of lamb, trimmed and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • ½ cup low-fat yogurt
    • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
    • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
    • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric

Combine first 9 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add lamb; seal and shake to coat. Refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
