Salisbury Steak with Easy Pan Gravy


  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ cup(s) bread or cracker crumbs, very finely crumbled
  • 2 teaspoon(s) oil or butter
  • 1 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup(s) milk (substitute water, if preferred)
  • salt and pepper

    • 1 pound(s) ground beef

Mix meat, egg, crumbs, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Shape into ovals or rectangles about 3/4" thick. Heat a skillet large enough to hold steaks in a single layer, and film with oil. When hot, add meat and cook about 4 minutes, turn and cook to desired doneness, 8 - 10 minutes total...
