Sauerkraut Casserole


  • 1 ½ pound(s) ground beef
  • 8 ounce(s) Swiss cheese shredded
  • 10 ounce(s) cream of celery soup
  • 10 ounce(s) cream of mushroom soup
  • 16 ounce(s) egg noodles
  • 15 ounce(s) sauerkraut (plain or bavarian style)
  • ½ cup(s) onion diced

Brown hamburger and onion; drain. Cook pasta and drain noodles. Mix noodles and soups in large bowl. In baking dish, layer hamburger, sauerkraut, and noodle mixture. Bake at 350°F, uncovered for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over top then back another 15 minutes. Serve hot.
