- 1-½ pounds beef shoulder top blade (flat iron) steaks
- ¼ cup(s) finely chopped green onions
- Marinated Cucumbers (recipe follows)
- Toasted Sesame Seeds (recipe follows)

- Sesame-Soy Marinade:
- ¼ cup(s) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) water
- 2 tablespoon(s) packed brown sugar
- 1-½ tablespoons dark sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon(s) minced fresh ginger
