  • 4 lb boneless beef round steak, ¾ inch thick, trimmed of fat, cut into pieces
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup cola carbonated beverage
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (½ cup)
  • 24 burger buns, split
