Southwestern Chili-Corn Chip Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • + 10 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon ancho chile powder
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
    • 2 teaspoons paprika
    • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
    • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    • ¼ cup masa mixed with 1/3 cup water
    • 2 (10-ounce) cans diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
    • 1 (11-ounce) can Mexicorn (corn with red and green bell peppers)
    • 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
