Spiced Ruby Lamb Shanks
Ingredients
- Salt
- 3 fresh thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- freshly ground black pepper
- 8 lamb shanks (foreshanks)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 cloves of garlic
- + 8 more ingredients

- 1 28-ounce can peeled plum tomatoes, with juices
- 2 to 3 large bunches, for garnish
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cups ruby port wine
- 2 lemons
- 1 cup beef broth
