Spicy Chicken-Fried Hamburgers

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup organic ketchup mixed with 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce (or use barbecue sauce)
  • Lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and honey mustard for topping
  • 4 potato rolls, toasted and buttered
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef chuck
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin (about 1/3 palmful)
    • 1 teaspoon cayenne (about 1/3 palmful)
    • 1 ½ teaspoons granulated onion (about ½ palmful)
    • 1 ½ teaspoons granulated garlic or garlic powder (about ½ palmful)
    • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
    • Coarse salt and pepper
    • Peanut or other vegetable oil, for frying
