Stuffed Round Steak with Gravy


  • ½ cup(s) onion - chopped
  • 3 clove(s) garlic - chopped
  • 6 cup(s) beef stock of beef boullion
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoon(s) fresh thyme
  • 1 cup(s) red wine
  • 6 large carrots - cut into fourths
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 3 pound(s) stuffed rolled round steak
    • 4 slice(s) bacon

Cook four slices of bacon. When crisp, remove to a paper towel to drain. In the bacon drippings, place rolled steak and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side to brown. Remove to a plate and set aside. Add onion and cook for 3-5 minutes. Add chopped garlic, bay leaves and thyme. Cook for 2 minutes....
