Filet Mignon with Roasted Potatoes and Asparagus

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ pounds asparagus spears
  • 1 ¼ pounds beef tenderloin
  • ¾ teaspoon salt, divided
  • 3 baking potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon pepper, divided
