  • ½ cup red wine
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon pepper

    • 1 cup beef broth or water

Cook roast in hot oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat 5 to 6 minutes or until browned on all sides.
