Ingredients

  • 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • ½ tablespoon tomato paste

    • ½ teaspoon garam masala
    • 1 teaspoon curry powder
    • ¼ teaspoon celery salt
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ cup water

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the chicken into a 2 quart covered baking dish or dutch oven with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and olive oil. 2.
