Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole 4


  • 2 pound(s) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • ½ cup(s) butter or margarine
  • ¼ cup(s) chopped onions
  • 16 ounce(s) sour cream
  • 1 can(s) cream of chicken soup, diluted with ¼ cup milk
  • 2 cup(s) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup(s) butter or margarine
    • 1 cup(s) Cornflakes

Mix first 7 ingredients together and put in ungreased 9x13 pan. Melt 1/4 cup butter and toss with cornflakes. Put this on top of casserole. Put this on top of casserole. Bake at 350° for 45 min.-1 hour. Can be made ahead in several smaller dishes and freeze until needed.
