Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 2 tablespoons Italian parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 chicken thighs, seasoned liberally with
  • 3 fresh bay leaves
  • 6 cups cold chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, chopped
  • + 9 more ingredients
    • 1 ½ cups andouille sausages, sliced (I have used kielbasa before too)
    • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley
    • ½ cup celery, diced
    • ½ cup red bell pepper, diced
    • ½ cup green bell pepper, diced
    • 1 cup onion, diced
    • 4 tablespoons creole seasoning
    • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup vegetable oil
