CHICKEN AND APARAGUS BAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 package(s) frozen cut asparagus, thawed (10 ounce pkg)
  • 3 tablespoon(s) chopped almonds
  • 5 pound(s) cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 cup(s) shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) hot pepper sauce
  • ½ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 2 teaspoon(s) soy sauce

    • 2 tablespoon(s) chopped pimientos
    • 1 can(s) Evaporated Milk (5 ounce can)
    • 1 can(s) mushrooms stems and pieces, drained (8 ounce can)
    • 1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
    • ¼ cup(s) butter or margarine
    • 1 onion, chopped (medium)

In a large saucepan, sauté onion in butter until tender. Stir in the soup, mushrooms, milk, pimientos, soy sauce,pepper, and pepper sauce. Stir in cheese until melted.
