Chicken and Fresh Corn Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley,as garnish
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley,chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme,chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 onion,finely chopped
  • + 16 more ingredients
    • 1 egg
    • ¼ cup whole milk
    • ½ cup cornmeal
    • ½ cup flour
    • Dumplings:
    • 1 ¾ cup chicken stock
    • 3 ears fresh corn,kernels cut off cob
    • ¼ teaspoon red pepper
    • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme,chopped
    • 1 15 ounce can chopped tomatoes with garlic and onions,undrained
    • 1 3 pound chicken,cut in pieces
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/3 cup flour
    • 4 bacon
