Chicken Braised with Dried Fruits
Ingredients
- 1 cup(s) wine
- 1 cup(s) coarsely chopped dried fruit: a mixture of figs, apricots, prunes, raisins, etc
- ¼ cup(s) flour, more if needed
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt, plus ground black pepper to taste
- 8 pieces chicken legs, thighs, or a combination
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive or canola oil
- 2 teaspoon(s) fennel seeds, crushed or coarsely ground
